MUSIC FOR NOTRE DAME DE VIE
Notre Dame de Vie (Our Lady of Life) is a Secular Institute of the Catholic Church made up of consecrated lay women, lay men and secular priests who live out vows of poverty, chastity and obedience while working in a wide range of occupations and countries of the world. They do this by living and encouraging the practice of silent prayer in the spirit of the great Carmelite masters St Teresa of Avila, St John of the Cross and St Thérèse of Liseux, as taught by their founder Blessed Fr. Marie-Eugène. Find out more about them here.
Katy Wehr has become a friend of Notre Dame de Vie through getting to know consecrated members and visiting their founding house in Venasque, France and their house of solitude in St Paul d'Abbotsford, Québec. She was inspired to set some of Fr. Marie-Eugène's words to music and shares them here for members, associates, and friends of NDV to enjoy in both English and French.
